0-1 year, 1-2 years, 2-3 years, 3-4 years.
We do not accept Grade RR & R children (age 5-6 years) at this stage as it is in the child’s best interest to already register for Grade RR & R at the school where he/she will attend Grade 1 .
Half day: 07:00 – 13:00
Full day: 07:00 – 17:00
Children are given over and dropped off with staff in the morning and are not permitted to leave the school premises unless the attendance register has been signed.
If children are not picked up by 13:15 (half day) or 17:15 (full day), a R75 fine will be imposed.
PARENTS MUST NOTIFY THE PRESCHOOL IN WRITING IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO PICK UP THEIR CHILDREN. THE PERSON COLLECTING THE CHILD MUST ALSO SHOW AN ID DOCUMENT.
No sweets or soft drinks may be sent to the center unless the child is having a birthday party at the centre.
Parents of babies who drink formula milk must supply the milk to the centre.
The parents of children who follow special diets must also provide the center with a food package for the child and must make the necessary arrangements with the center for this.
The center provides: Breakfast, lunch and light refreshments.

Parents are requested to notify the center if the child will be absent due to illness or any other reason. Center fees are still payable for this period.
Children with infectious diseases MAY NOT attend the center until the disease has cleared. Refer to sick policy for more complete information.
Parents are requested to ensure that children wear comfortable clothes in which they can play and which may get dirty. The daily activities include painting, clay play, sandpit play and other outdoor activities. The children are encouraged to dress independently and parents must ensure that the clothes can be easily put on and taken off by the children.
Please ensure that all clothing is clearly marked as the center cannot accept responsibility for items of clothing that go missing.
Please have two sets of clean clothes in the child’s bag every day as accidents can happen.
A blanket with your child’s name on it must be sent to the center during the winter months.
Babies:
– The following must be in the child’s bag every day
− 8 disposable nappies
− Wet wipes
− Boudjiesalf
− 4 containers of formula milk
– 4 bottles filled with the right amount of water
− 3 sets of clean clothes
– a clean washcloth
DIPPERS MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED AND PINNED TO THE CHILD’S CLOTHING AT ALL TIMES.
Potty parade
Children who receive potty lessons, please do not wear one-piece clothing or clothing that is difficult to unfasten with, among other things, zippers, buttons, etc.
No pull-up nappies should be sent to the centre, instead send enough knickers and shorts together.
This is a great opportunity for the child and the center is happy to participate in it. Parents may send sweets and cake but please arrange this with the center in advance.
FOR SAFETY REASONS, PLEASE DO NOT PUT GUM OR SMALL CANDY THAT THE CHILDREN COULD CHOKE INTO THE CANDY PACKAGES.
All medicines MUST be handed to the staff and must not be left in the child’s bag at all. Medicine bottles should be clearly labeled with the child’s name and dose.
NO MEDICATION WILL BE GIVEN UNLESS THE MEDICATION CHART IS COMPLETED AND SIGNED BY THE PARENT.
Center fees are strictly payable in advance. No refunds will be made if the child is absent. If the child is taken out of the centre, one (1) full calendar month’s written notice must be given. Center fee is payable before/on the first of each month. A discount of 5% is granted for 2 or more children from the same family.
A 10% penalty will be charged for late payments. If the center fees are a month overdue without a special arrangement being made with the center in advance, your child will be refused entry and legal action will be taken against you.
December is part of the school year and therefore center fees are payable even if the child leaves school at the end of the year (November or December). So no notification will be accepted from November 1.
The center is open all year round except for public holidays and closes for a period of 3 weeks during December / January when all the staff take well-deserved leave.
Parents are welcome to discuss any problems with the center owner. Sometimes the center will also contact the parents if there are any issues that need to be addressed. Children are not allowed at these appointments as the children should not be exposed to problems. Please make an appointment so that the teacher and parents can talk undisturbed.
